    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As a management consulting intern, my main roles were supporting my team in delivering client excellence, liaising with the clients, completing key training activities and building my professional network. My day to day is fairly varied, with meetings and calls with my team and others from the Firm, as well as other work to support the progression of the project. My internship began with a week's induction which was mainly focussed around upskilling, to ensure I was prepared to begin client-facing work.

I was also given the responsibility of ensuring all work was filed correctly, creating new documents and developing new slides. I was also given the opportunity to run some sessions for my team and to liaise with the client.
