Overview
I undertook computational tasks with the focus on model, simulation and analysis.
Skills
My coding skills have become drastically better, alongside my critical thinking, analytical skills and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities
For a placement student I was given a much higher level of responsibility than expected, which allowed me to improve my skills and abilities at a much quicker and more efficient rate.
Support & Guidance
I had constant support from all my team, line-managers, and senior figures. If I had to ask for help with a specific task I never failed to get advice off anyone I sought it off.
Culture
The culture is very inclusive, especially among early careers, with lots of socials and initiatives to bring everyone together.
Your Impressions
This placement has been one of the most rewarding periods of my life, I have been immersed into a company at the forefront of engineering and social policies and felt like the work I am doing truly has an impact on the wider world.
