The Role
It was a great experience, I got to learn many things which we are not usually taught in university.
Very friendly people, keen to teach you new things.
Very helpful and quick to respond to any question.
Since I was working as an Event Assistant, my schedule was dictated by the next event and the amount of work needed to deliver it successfully.
I didn't have to much responsability, but I think it was ok since this was just an entry level internship so I don't think I have enough experince just yet.
I learnt many things that I am sure I will apply to my future job.
The Company
You could tell that they knew each other quite well, and they were really friendly to each other.
Maybe a bit more guidance at some point would have been a bit useful, but luckily my manager was there to help.
On a personal developmenet elevel I got to be trained in First Aid and also I got access to the E-learning program.
Flexi Time
National Travel
Working from home
I have been offered the chance to keep my details in the organisation and be contacted for any future opportunities.
The Culture
I didn't really get the chance to interact with any other people outside our area.
The prices were alright.
Coventry is not the most lively city out there, but I live here so I knew about it when I applied for the internship so it didn't really affect my decision.
British Red Cross Week, taking part in challenges like skidiving, abseiling, walks and marathons.
