    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • It was a 3 week internship. The first week was general and audit training. The next two weeks where audit work in a team. This work was real-life and contributed to a client's audit. I also had a summer internship presentation running alongside the final two weeks.

  • I didn't have a finance degree, therefore I learn a lot of skills. The training introduced these concepts and the next two puts developed them and put them into proactive.

  • I had a several people who I was put in contact with to ask my questions. I was able to find lots our about the business and the potential roles available.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • As the internship was online I had worried that I would not get to understand the atmosphere of the company. This was not the case, lots of talks where arranged and I was able to speak to lots of people. I have a much better understanding of their values and how these are incorporated into the workplace.

  • I really enjoyed the insight event. I was able to take on more responsibility than I expected. I really enjoyed how many different people I was able to speak to.
