    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • The role varies day-to-day, with some days spent in a placement team and others with the early careers team, developing skills and learning about the bank. In the placement team there are opportunities to add value and contribute to ongoing work at the bank.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Confidence and communication are two skills I have developed since being at the bank. These are used on a daily basis such as through team meetings and speaking out in front of audiences, which is a great skill to carry on throughout my career. I have also learnt to be more of a critical thinker by questioning processes and challenging people's views.
