    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Daily Task: Analysing competitors through Nielsen and PowerBI software, creating artworks to go on products and sending deliveries through DSV. Daily Interactions internally & externally: Constant interactions internally from senior commercial employees to external operations. Responsibilities: Key contact for the creation of Christmas and all year round Gifting portfolio for the brand. ProjectS: Helping on seasonal campaigns from media creatio , to influencer send outs to designing packaging.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • The responsibility given to myself from the brand shocked me at first, but over time I grew into the role and loved it! My team treated me from the off like an equal listening to my views and helping me implicate them not only in my gifting portfolio but within the brand as well. I feel having been opened to such responsibility will only benefit me later in my career progression.

  • My team was always there to guide when I was uncertain - which was important in the first 3 months of my internship. Moreover, all employees were happy to take 5 - 10mins out of their day to support if I needed it.

  • My placement has been my proudest achievement to date and I will be taking my learnings to analysing results, to using Photoshop and presenting to buyers in my future career endeavours.

  • I would take an excel course to make sure you are competent and try and test the products before joining the company!
