  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensuring project risks are assessed, managed and mitigated as part of each project. Ensuring full feasibility analyses are conducted to include all aspects of the project. Coordinating the creation of master data to ensure that new products are set-up, live and costed in the SAP system in time with the project. Managing projects from them being approved by the business to the products going to production.

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given full responsibility and management over a large number of projects and new product launches. It was my responsibility to manage these projects, ensure all work required is completed in full and to ensure we keep on track to all project expectations including cost and timings.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I received so much support from my manager, the department and the business. I knew I could approach anyone within the business and I would be able to receive guidance and advise with any problems I faced. My manager and the department also provided support throughout my whole placement and their approachable attitude allowed me to easily go to anyone with any issues or questions I had.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Everyone at Church and Dwight is friendly, approachable and I was made to feel very welcome. Due to Covid we were unable to attend any social events however, I was still able to e-meet everyone I work with and build strong professional relationships within each team I am involved in.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement with Church and Dwight. I was able to gain huge insight and invaluable experience in both the industry and Project Management.

  • All interns are treated as employees and given responsibilities and ownership of their work. I would advise that the candidates are motivated within the role and passionate about getting involved in all aspects of the role and learning on the job!
