Overview
We were taught about elements of the programs they provide as well as taught skills that are critical to becoming a teacher. This was paired with the chance to plan and execute a lesson, that was critiqued by one of their teachers. Very informative two day experience
Skills
Drastically developed my skills in planning and organising activities, I had a base level of the skill due to tuition, however, now have a completely different approach. I also gained a better understanding of the process of continuous self evaluation
Business Insight
It was really clear what they expect from us and what the course would look like. They broke down the role of being a teach first teacher and how the two year training program will look like.
Culture
It was an incredible and inclusive environment, very positive and welcoming.
Your Impressions
To a very very large extent, one of the best workshop/experiences I’ve ever partook in.
Yes
Don’t miss out on this opportunity, it may be intimidating talking to a group of different students across the UK, however, it is incredibly worth it.
