Overview
This experience was carried out over zoom. Day 1: -personal development session -debate surrounding educational inequality -learn about Teach First's mission -plan a mini lesson -ask questions to ambassadors -social quiz Day 2: -discuss solutions to educational problems in the UK -deliver a mini lesson, give and receive feedback -personal development -opportunities fair
Skills
Worked to develop competencies such as leadership, interaction, self-evaluation and communication skills. Experienced an increase in confidence through having my ideas valued by other like-minded people. Networking opportunities enabled the development of interaction skills. Improved in giving and receiving feedback. Experience teaching and exploring what makes a good lesson.
