I attended several informative and amazing sessions which Graduate recruitment organised. These involved session by [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]. The sessions gave me insight into how the firm operates as a business and its several employee networks which create an inclusive environment. Throughout the week, we also worked on a group project to deliver a presentation.
I have developed my existing teamwork skills. It was really nice to work with my fellow interns and get to know them in the process as well. I have also developed my communication and organisation skills in the process of completing the group project.
It was insightful to hear about all the opportunities in the business to get involved and put ideas forward. It definitely has helped me remain optimistic about opportunities within DLA Piper but also in the wider world.
The culture was very welcoming and warm. I enjoyed the the different speakers and their opinions and it was obvious how much DLA cares about diversity and its employees.
I enjoyed it very much. It met all my expectations and I wish it was longer. The insight was incredible and I would want to learn more about the firm. The group project was interesting and gave me the chance to research more about the firm and I discovered some interesting and amazing thing the firm has done and is currently working on.
Keep and open mind when going into interview-the interviewers really just want to know more about you as a person. Be a team player- that really needs to come across and most importantly be yourself.
