    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • My hard and soft employability skills have greatly improved, learning new abilities that will help me in my future careers. These skills comprise of communication, leadership, and priority management. Overcoming the difficulties of the pandemic and working from home meant skills like communication were essential for bringing our team together. My growth in confidence in communicating internally and externally has helped me to lead many meetings with customers to discuss digital support I can provide them with. Additionally, helping me to present to our biggest customer on many occasions regarding content that has been tailored to their needs. I have gained amazing feedback from this and will continue to radiate my passion for my work in these presentations. I have developed new software skills through use of Adobe Photoshop, which I had not previously used. Developing this enabled me to create high quality, bespoke content for our team and customers.

  • From the beginning of my internship, I was given many responsibilities including creating digital content in the indirect channel, working very closely with all our wholesalers individually to increase our brand awareness. I was the given the opportunity to complete long-term projects to make a progressive impact in the indirect business and our brand. I was responsible for the consumer journey online from product pages to social media content, to gaining results and data for analysis of successful content.
