  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I support the team in their marketing plans for both upcoming TV and Family Entertainment releases and past shows in the TV catalogue. I help with keeping schedules up to date, working with the digital team to keep the website refreshed, raising purchase orders and just generally supporting the team as required.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have learnt lots of new skills in this role as well as having opportunities to develop my existing skills. From simply working in a professional environment (e.g. skills like email and meeting etiquette) to understanding systems I have never previously used (e.g. SAP to help with budget management and raising purchase orders) I feel I have learnt a lot during my time here.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I never felt afraid to ask questions or seek advice from any of my team and have generally felt very well supported throughout! I have a weekly one-to-one with my manager which is a great chance to have any questions answered or share any concerns. As a team we also chat daily and keep in regular contact so there is plenty of opportunity for help and guidance if needed.
