My organization skills have improved being derived from the need to be able to handle multiple tasks at once. Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I was given support from my line manager, as well as other directors in the retail team. At Savills I was assigned an APC tutor as well as having lots of support from the HR team. Everyone here was always willing to help and to see how I was getting on, especially in the first few months of starting here.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • There was a great sense of togetherness within the company itself, especially at such a difficult time with Covid-19. This therefore left it difficult for many company-wide events to take place as Government restrictions were in place. There was however lots of virtual meetings especially with the Graduate community which being a placement student felt very welcoming. Apart from that being in London and living with other placement students has been a great experience.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • At University Savills was always top of list. I have thoroughly enjoyed my placement here at Savills, my team along with the community of employees that I have come into contact with have become my normality and returning to University will seem somewhat unfamiliar. I would love to return to the company as a Graduate when I finish my time at Nottingham Trent and I will certainly be making my application when process becomes underway.
