    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • day-to-day administrative support to the regional digital media team, including but not limited to, asset collection and distribution and folder management. Additionally, uploading onto various social accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube ensuring that all content is optimised effectively. Whilst managing the digital content approval process between Disney and Marvel, keeping in mind the expectations of multiple stakeholders.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I can now work collaboratively with a team and be highly motivated to learn. I have developed great organisational skills, the ability to work both as part of a team and solo, and creativity to spare. I have also learnt about time management, prioritisation of tasks, administration, and multitasking skills. As well as, developing coordination skills and learning how to tailor my communication style for different audiences (i.e. creative agencies, local markets, etc.

  • Yes, so much more than i ever thought which has been amazing as this is hard to come by for an internship!

  • A lot, I had a very excellent support system, from another intern on my team, my supervisor, my manager and also my overall manager.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • This has been hard to gauge due to working from home. Overall i felt very welcome and was made to feel like part of the team from the beginning and throughout.

  • I have loved it, despite it being in the toughest year of many people's lives i have made the most of it where possible and i will always be grateful for Disney being the first step in my exciting career to come!
