  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

    • Provide a range of support to all disciplines of the business. Undertake Business Intelligence research and subsequent analytical work. Visit estates in the borough as part of the research work as required. Working in a way that demonstrates St Legers values.

    • I have greatly strengthened my ability on Excel software. I have also become familiar with a lot of property related jargon and have a good knowledge of the social property industry.

    • Yes, I am given projects that I am responsible for ensuring the completion of at my own pace. Colleagues rely on me to complete tasks for them to help deliver tenants the best experience possible.

    • My manager is great, he is always happy to discuss work that I may need help on and his approach to management keeps staff wellbeing at the forefront. This approach has made me feel very comfortable whilst on placement

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Due to the pandemic, my whole placement has been working from home so I haven't really met colleagues face to face. Despite this every colleague I have worked with has been friendly and happy to help where they can, making my time on placement enjoyable.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

    • I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on placement. I know the work I have done has been helpful and I know the work we do as an organisation in invaluable to the community in Doncaster which is really rewarding.
