  • The role is very people oriented and as a result has massively increased my interpersonal skills. I have gained: - Better Presentation skills - Better negotiation/influence skills - Story telling skills - Developed my ability of various M365 Suite products (Teams, Powerapps, Powerpoint, Excel etc) - Ability to work with a variety of different people and personalities.

  • Across my internship I have been given a large variety of projects that have led to me playing a vital function of business. I have helped to drive long term strategies for my role and helped my organisation construct best practices that have been replicated globally.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Line Manager- Very responsive, very supportive and facilitated many opportunities for my growth. Wider team- Incredibly supportive environment and a safe space to connect with any of the team members. Mentors- Stood by me across the entire internship and have invested much into me. All support was highly accessible and problems were met with swift solutions.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Incredible culture: - Variety of team building events - A good emphasis on building connections across the team. - Diversity is greatly celebrated within the organisation and as such there have been many initiatives to support this. - I am a part of a very active philanthropy team that are dedicated to giving back towards the Community. - Casual conversations with the team when we are not working.

  • At all times thorughout the application process ensure you are being yourself as Microsoft prides itself on accepting authenticity into the business. Prior to starting ensure you immerse yourself in the art of the possible of the technology we have as it is very vast.
