    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • The first day provided a fantastic overview of the bank as a whole, clearly detailing each department's role in the clockwork of a business. In terms of specific roles, Corporate Audit was one that seemed very exciting due to the wide breadth of knowledge gained. Technology was incredible - there seems to be a lot more risk management in this sector than originally thought. It's not all just coding 24/7 contrary to my belief!

  • 8. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bank of America
  • Make sure you demonstrate a real passion for the division you're applying for. Develop key examples of standard competencies - leadership, teamwork, ambition, problem solving etc. Think about what seperates BOAML from other banks and use that in the application. Show enthusiasm, energy and be humble and honest at the same time. Be yourself - it shows them your honesty !
