    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I have recurring responsibilities each day in which i use cash sheets to identify any funding needs or cash surpluses. I then raise a deal sheet for loans and deposits to be made with internal and external counter-parties. I am involved with the process from start to finish including raising high value payments.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have had ample opportunity to develop many skills. Working as part of a team has allowed me to adopt my team-working skills from my other experiences into a professional setting. I have also become more experienced with multiple software which will be useful for my future career. The placement also offers many workshops to help develop any skills which you may want to develop.

  • I have a central role within the treasury team which feeds a lot of the work that other team members do. I am depended on to work individually to carry our my daily tasks. This has given me a good taste of what it takes to be a dependable member of a functioning team and has boosted my confidence massively.
