    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • During this insight I had the chance to chat directly with a number of J.P. Morgan employees as well as completing coding challenges relating to SQL, Data structures and Object-Oriented Programming followed by reflections on the challenges that I faced. The various workshops held relating to Software Engineering Techniques, Code for Good t and Cybersecurity were no doubt thrilling and challenging yet fun and provided a wonderful insight into the work JPMorgan Chase & Co. does.

  • I developed my networking skills by having the chance of asking questions and engaging with the presentations, which also resulted in learning plenty of new information abut Cyber Security, best coding practices and general advice regarding working into the Technology department at a financial firm. I discovered new aspects of Object Oriented Programming and got the chance to put them in practice, gained experience with working with new software and got a better sense of what is expected from a future employee.
