    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • I work with retailers to ensure that all of our campaigns are set up effectively in-store, this can involve POS and posters. I also ensure that our set-up online is effective through the use of the correct packshots, A+ Content and banners. I carry out weekly tasks that help us to manage retailers and offer customers our services in the best way possible.

  • I have developed my communication skills and confidence through interacting with a wide variety of departments and external agencies. This has allowed me to enhance my ability to work with multiple people and teams to get my job done. I have developed a much stronger knowledge of how to work Amazon Vendor Central and a great ability of how to work from home efficiently and effectively. I have developed a good knowledge of the film industry as well.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • During my placement, I have been given a lot of responsibility. I am trusted to interact with retailers and the wider company, whilst making my own decisions in getting the job done. I have had a lot of responsibility around the WB Shop which has allowed me to become an integral part of the team, this is very important as it has made me feel like I am a part of Warner Bros.

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • I have received an exceptional amount of support and guidance throughout my placement, my managers have really helped me to get the most out of my placement and are on hand to help at any point. Alongside this, I have weekly catch ups with my line manager to check in on how I am doing which really helps. My managers are lovely and have helped me every step of the way.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Everyone at Warner Bros is really friendly and is always there to help, this has allowed me to excel in my placement and really enjoy my time here even though I've been working from home. The atmosphere is always really good, with a positive and hard-working nature.

  • I love my placement at Warner Bros, I have learnt so much and met some incredible contacts. To say we haven't been in the office and had such a good time working here reflects the company so well.
