I really enjoyed it, was very professional and enjoyed being able to ask important female directors at KPMG questions.
I felt valued as my opinion mattered, especially in the group work.
I felt I got adequate guidance- working virtually was difficult at some points as there wasn’t much I could do about WiFi connection, and neither could those who led the program
The assessment day was particularly important to me- it will put me in good stead for future interviews
It was very well structured, with times for everything and the appropriate links were sent out
Positive atmosphere- everyone’s opinion was valued. Also it was great to do group work with other interns
They invested in me by giving me the opportunity for an internship- which they gave me!
Not very much- we did a lot of listening and not much realistic deal advisory work. We did get an insight into what employees do day to day at the firm
As it was focussed on women in deal advisory, I could tell that KPMG are trying to be as inclusive as possible and thus are trying to be a diverse culture.
I have decided to follow up upon this and pursue a career in deal advisory, or any role at kpmg
I was paid very well for the three days
Yes there was via the panels and we were encouraged to link with everyone on LinkedIN
They were okay, we didn’t get a chance to be that personal with the employees
Not really- however this is accessible on the website
I would recommend it- it puts your foot in the door, and gives valuable interview experience
