    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed it. Very insightful and helpful. Exactly what i wanted it to be.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Really suprised. Meet up with some senior employees whos seemed to be really interested in us and what we had to say.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Very supportive. Any problems or quieries were adressed and had no issue mentioning them.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very busy, almost too busy... Had a lot of very intense presentations that were quite involving.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The work shadowing was really useful and one of the best experiences about the whole programme, but had no responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The networking was extremely useful, it gave an opportunity to talk to senior staff helping my confidence. Networking also allowed us to see what actually happened on a day to day level.

  • Really friendly staff, and excellent people all around. Had a great time.

  • Extremely. Was not a moment where i was bored or felt like it was unecessary.

  • Seemed like a lot of effort had gone into making the event be as good as possible. Ran very smoothly.

  • Hopefully a lot higher now, presentation about assesment centre set up was really useful.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • To begin with was very slow and not much interaction. But picked up as we got to know each other better.

  • Average.

  • Didnt experience it
