  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?

    • Overall the experience was interesting and the CMS team put in a lot of effort to make it as good as possible. However, the limited ability to interact with other participants was a let down. In addition, the nature of the Zoom made it hard to maintain focus for the whole day. The energiser exercises were a good idea but felt silly - I ended up doing pushups and pullups instead. Nonetheless it was a fun experience.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • The effort the CMS team put in made me feel valued. The interactive elements, especially the pitch project with CMS really demonstrated that our ideas were valued. Again the main let down was the virtual nature of the event which often made interactions feel stilted (especially when we had one CMS person talking to several programme participants.

    • We received great guidance and support in the form of the pre-programme information booklet and the plan was well set out at the start of the week and each day.
