    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Very good internship. Great implication from the firm to share a lot with interns. The internship is adapted to the level of students from low level in finance to already experienced students. Also, various activities/tasks to do. Everything is tested and improved from technical to soft skills. Different trainings and various opportunities to learn. The internship is very demanding. I highly recommend internships at JP Morgan.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Had much research work to do but few real responsabilities. It's normal. I was working in a highly regulated division. It was impossible/forbidden to give interns too much responsabilities such as client facing for instance.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I was working on a technical subject involving programming. Programming on this type of subject was new to me. Thus, I learned a lot technically for the future. Discussing with a lot people from the firm also teach you how to prepare meetings and professional discussions.
