    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed my internship. I received a perfect mix of learning and practical experience. The work that I did indeed had a tangible impact on my team. I was guided throughout the process by my team, which was very helpful. The work itself was interesting and connected to the real world. By doing the work I had a chance to expand my knowledge and obtain new skill. I learned a lot from insight sessions and meetings with different people.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • My colleagues were always attentive to me, I had a chance to speak at team meetings. Everyone was friendly, helpful and approachable. However, people were usually busy so it was important to keep conversations to the point and avoid irrelevant questions.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was give a perfect mix of independence and guidance. My manager allowed me to set the direction of my project and the way to approach it but at the same time he was always there to give some advice, tips, and feedback.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Usually I was busy during the day. It was important to be proactive and to always let people that you are ready to help so that people knew you were available. Of course there were some days (during last week) where I did not have much work to do because most of my tasks were done.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Because The internship was virtual, I did not attend the office but even remotely, I always felt very connected to the team and other interns. Overall, the atmosphere was very friendly and motivating.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Internship was very well organized despite being remote. Even during our first day, all the meeting were structured and everything went smoothly. Learning sessions were great and useful. Would love to have more socials though.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I think that giving a chance to be an intern in the company was already a big investment in us. We did not have much of personal training, obviously, because we were in the company for 5 weeks only. However, the internship really contributed to my personal development. I feel like I could become a better version of myself.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Would love to be part of the company. Their grad scheme is very well structured and allows a person to do 3-4 rotation in different business departments, which I find great. In addition, the company invests in lots of training for the employees.
