Summer City Agency Intern Review

It was well organised and I appreciated the effort that went into it despite these tricky Covid times. There were opportunities to get out and about and see sites a lot during the week. The firm organised multiple talks which were informative and interesting to hear from different people around the business.

It was great to be given work that was actually useful to the team during my week. They made an effort to get me involved in things and to make the most of understanding what they do as a team and how they operate. They were interested in my opinion and what stage I was at which made me feel like they cared more about me as a placement student.

My mentor was really helpful in making sure I had tasks to do and that I understood what I was doing and why.

First hand experience in the industry is invaluable before undertaking a Masters degree and great to get to meet people that have done the same thing. Gaining market knowledge from industry experts was incredibly helpful.

There were good talks organised throughout the week with a wide variety of subject areas covered. It was great to have a welcome breakfast at the beginning of the week to give a good overview of what was happening.
