    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I really enjoyed this insight as it allowed me to understand better the purpose of NatWest Group and the role of a Software Engineer in the company. Everyone was extremely helpful, from the HR team, to the external partner that gave a session on Ethical and Social Responsibility. The overall environment was friendly and I felt very comfortable asking questions to the speakers. I really liked the fact that there were Q&A sessions at the end of the days to ask any general clarification.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt extremely valued throughout the Insight. I was part of the Software Engineering Insoght and the group was very small (4 participants). This allowed the Business Speaker Session to be very friendly and we had a lot of space to ask questions. I really appreciated the speaker words not only on the company Technology sector, but also her main tips on professional development, which will be useful in any career path. Even if the speaker is in a very senior position, she was able to make us comfortable speaking to her.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I really liked the fact that the group for Software Engineering was small. I was able to ask a lot of questions, especially during the graduates session. They were able to explain their roles within the technology sector and the previous experience that brought them to Natwest Group. They also explained the process from an Insight week, to getting an internship and in the end a graduate role. They were all very supportive suggesting us to continue networking and preparing for the assessment centre.
