  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • A very valuable experience!

    • People in the department were all very willing to chat to me just because I happened to be there

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • Supervisors were very supportive, always there to answer my questions or explain what they were doing

    • This programme kept me very busy!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given a project to do which was a great learning experience, and on top of that was able to work on slides that may actually be used in a real presentation.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Developed skills such as presenting which will no doubt be useful in the future.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • I was surprised that the atmosphere was more relaxed than I thought it would be

    • HR did an amazing job, the structure of the programme was great with a good mix of time with the business and a few presentations and networking events

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • The fact that a very senior person personally asked to speak to some of us spring interns I think speaks volumes about how the firm supports its (potential) employees

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Only a week so not much of a chance to find out about the social scene

    • London is expensive, but hotel was provided and most expenses paid for

    • Only there for a week, so no chance to experience this
