Insight Week Intern Review

It was so amazing to meet so many different employees from different backgrounds and department. We had the opportunity to ask as many questions as we wanted! I liked the mix between presentations and exercises. The project we carried out during the week was very interesting because it has allowed us to practice Terminal functions and functionalities. We also had amazing team building session with quizzes and games to better know the other insighters who were present even if it was a virtual meeting.

The persons who organised the Insight Week were so nice and help us through the week. We had the opportunity to ask as many questions as we wanted which was so valuable. They encouraged us during the quiz sessions and also during our project's presentations. We had always help at any time and we could ask for support at any time during our project preparation throughout the week. We had the opportunity to send them messages on the Terminal as well.

The Insight week was really well organised. We received the full programm and guidelines in advance to be fully prepared on the day. We got support, especially concerning the downloading of the Terminal for Mac users. For each sessions we had the description of the content and also the names of the panelists. It was very interesting also to have the presentations sent by Email after so that we can review them at home and prepare our questions.

We have received a lot of tips and guidances about the professional work and I will value all this information in my current internship. I also need to use Bloomberg for my current internship and with all the insights we had during this week on the usage of the Terminal, I feel for confident and prepared now to use it during my professional path. I also developed the ability to work on a team project remotely via a virtual room and it was such a good experience.

Incredibly well organized with a complete planning that was sent before the beginning of the Insight Week. We also had the repartition of the groups in Excel files which was so useful. I completely appreciated the way the planning was set because it was a mix of project time and presentations and exercises. The activities were at the end of the day which is the perfect time to foster team building. Thank you also to have created a file with all the links for the Nexi rooms, it really helped me throughout the week.

All the group was so engaged by asking questions and participating in every activity that was available to us. I met fantastic people and I want to stay in contact with them! Even when the day was over, we were still in touch by text messages, sharing our hobbies and life. I wish I can meet them in real after the COVID-19 crisis because we share the same interest and same motivation for Bloomberg and its values.

They make everything possible for us to get access to the Terminal which was amazing and so interesting to discover. They showed us many functions and functionalities that we will surely use in our future even tomorrow. They also provided us with real training as if we were already in the company as Analytics. They were also very supportive in team building because they provide us with great activities during the entire Insight Week and thank youf or that.

We had the opportunity to see so many people working for Bloomberg and they their passion was such a motivation for us. Really enjoyed having the occasion to ask as many question as we wanted/ Q&A sessions were perfect to ask also questions on the company culture and way of working. Practical exercises gave us also a deep understanding of the jobs available and what competences were needed to be successful. Feedbacks were great moments as well.

Thank to all the conferences we had, we get a deep understanding of the culture available at Bloomberg. The working culture but also the philanthropic engagement of the company in different domains.

The content was very concrete with various examples from the people who were presenting. It is always easier to choose a futur career path when we have the opportunity to discuss and interact with professionals and we had this occasion during the entire Insight Week.

The entire week was structure about meeting the employees working at Bloomberg so we had plenty of occasions to network with them and to ask questions.

Great, especially during the Q&A sessions which were really interactive and insightful.
