Very insightful training provided, relevant to the work department. This was a remarkable couple of days spent learning more about the Fintech industry directly from people working in it, from entry-level employees, to senior employees with years of experience. It really encouraged me to form my own opinion about whether a career in the industry is right for me, and how to start such a career. This experience also included a fantastic customer support training workshop.
A very informative experience, with a steep learning curve, including: - learning about different department from BCS to analytics to global data to technology operations - talking to many new people, with a diverse range of motivations, ambitions, and stories - developing my skills through workshops on customer support training - developing my technical skills through Project Innovate case study in a team of 6, culminating in a group presentation to senior employees
Very helpful, the people represent the company culture the best, and we had a chance to speak to over 25 employees. An exciting insight into a fast-paced industry. This experience complemented my passion for learning and developed my strong interest in pursuing a future career at Bloomberg.
Valuable as we had a chance to understand the development and training Bloomberg would provide to entry level employees. We also had a chance to speak to a number of employees at the firm, who had completed summer internships and then returned to a full time role. An inspiring 3 days spent with an incredible, diverse team of professionals, who definitely took the time out of their day to show us the daily operations of a global operation.
Lots of virtual calls and insight panels. During the insight week, I developed both my technical and interpersonal skills through training and on-the-job learning, in addition to improving my resilience and attention to detail.
It was a great opportunity to experience the industry, develop my skills, and meet some wonderful and very supportive people.
