  • Thoroughly enjoyed this programme, so much so that I have stayed on in the team.

  • I was given responsibility and added value, my colleagues also took time out of their day to teach me certain aspects of the role.

  • The guidance was clear, the opportunity is what you make of it.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • There were busy points and quiet points, depending on the time of the year... everyone in the company was the same. If I didn't go out to get work though I could have found myself being bored.

  • Enough for the knowledge level I have.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Busy but my colleagues when they wasn't busy were great. Always offered to take me out for lunch or a coffee.

  • Maisy done an amazing job in organise a well structured internship programme.

  • I achieved a few Oracle cloud certifications that I can put on my CV.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The social aspect of the job is one of my favourite parts. Everyone at Oracle loves to socialise and there is always something going on.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was in the london office so quite expensive to get there on the train and to buy food and drinks around. That was to be expected though.

  • London - Amazing

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Always, Maisy was very good at organising these.
