  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Whilst Warner Bros. has no direct graduate scheme, they do hire interns into the business. As such, those that do return to the business will be in a job position above a grad scheme. This shows the trust and expectation placed in interns to handle large responsibility straight away and it's great to see interns make this transition.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There was a great social scene. This included team lunches and events, as well as intern only socials. With over 40 interns and apprentices, the social scene is vibrant and the office is well positioned to enjoy central London! There are also lunch-time sports teams, including a great football team.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Being in central London (Holborn) is always going to be expensive. However, the salary that Warner Bros. offers compensates for this. With Soho and Covent Garden a 5 minute walk away, the social opportunities are endless! Placement years should be enjoyed and seen as an opportunity to explore London too, don't let it go to waste!

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The location of the Warner Bros. office in central London (Holborn) is prime. Soho and Covent Garden are a 5 minute walk away, full of great bars and pubs for after work socialising! The intern group was great at organising nights out and get togethers on weekends, so the social element was really enjoyable.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Great opportunities for out of work activities. I personally joined the Warner Bros. Football Club, where we played regularly against local offices. These provided a great opportunity to network alongside departments that I didn't regularly encounter. Other events included Media Fight Night, where I got to support my VP who was fighting, as well as raise money for a great charity.
