    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • My placement has been absolutely amazing, every single day was something new & the work was highly interesting & enjoyable. The capacity for personal growth has been significant with consistent opportunities to learn & develop skills, while at the same time adding value to the business.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The team at Warner Bros could not have been more welcoming & friendly, after a few days it became clear that was an integral part of the team and was given high levels of responsibility right from the start. My Physical Sales Team really does feel like a family & being able to collaborate with so many skilled colleagues has been particularly insightful. Opportunities to network & communicate with people across all levels of the business come around every day, whether its in the form of a catch up, meeting or organised social night out!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • High levels of support & guidance was provided by my manager & many colleagues around the business, so much so that upon joining meetings were instantly set up for me to meet & get to know colleagues across all necessary levels of the business. The perfect level of guidance was provided to enable me to become self-sufficient in a short period of time.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • On a daily basis, the work place has been high paced with consistent & engaging levels of work to be completed. The fast paced environment meant that the work never got boring & new challenges were presented daily, enabling me to build upon my skills. At the same time, the work never became excessive, if a day was particularly busy there was always someone to collaborate with you to ease the workload.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • From the very first day at Warner Bros I was surprised with the level of responsibility given to me, which was highly motivating. Presenting to high numbers of senior colleagues, pitching ideas to the team & creating brand new campaigns was the norm. Seeing your work contribute to generating high levels of revenue for the business was extremely rewarding & hard work was always recognised by the team.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Since starting my placement, among many other skills my communication ability has improved so much, leaving me ready & excited to finish my studies & get out their into the world of work! My teamwork, problem-solving, organisation & leadership ability was tested frequently, allowing me to grow as both a person in & outside the workplace.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I've never seen so many interns at a company, the social scene was great - Frequent nights out were organised & countless opportunities provided to socialise with colleagues across the business. If it wasn't for the Covid-19 situation, the pubs & bars would be graced with interns & other team members multiple times a week!
