Test and Finish Intern Review

Working at Rolls-Royce has been fantastic. Everyone is polite and friendly. Every task, big or small, is treated with professionalism. Let's not forget the beautiful cars we produce! I have learnt so much from the management team, that I will put into use for the future.

The whole team was very inclusive. At any point if I needed support or an explanation to why we did something a certain way, my colleagues would take the time to do that. Everyone is always grateful for the work you do with them.

As busy as they are, the management team always took aside time to support my work. My manager gave me alot of responsibility which really pushed me into ensuring I followed the correct standards and processes.

I always felt pushed to work hard and efficiently. Sometimes there was alot of pressure, however this made me better at time management. I always had the ability to leave on time or an hour after end of shift, therefore it was a perfect balance.

I have been in control of a few projects over my placement at Rolls-Royce. This involved organising various teams, assigning tasks and ensuring we stuck to a set schedule.

I am already putting these skills to use in projects outside of work and once I return to university they will come in handy. I feel that, once these tools are in place, the work will flow and less effort is required further down the line.

We had quite a quiet office however, the time I spent in there meant I could crack on with my independent work.

From the assessment day before I started to the last few weeks of my placement everything was clearly set out and arranged. I enjoyed the revealing Rolls-Royce day course, showing the history of the business and the goals we strive for as a team.

I had all the tools at my disposal such as all the software, equipment and the ability to talk to anyone in the team to aid my learning.

I would love to return after my studies.

Everyone felt included to all the social events. I have made a few very good friends from the placement.

Chichester is a more pricey area, however, you get what you pay for. It's a lovely place to be.

The area only has pubs.

I spent most my free time at the gym.
