About You
The programme was excellent concerning gaining insight into Banking and Deutsche Bank. This was done by interactive sessions that covered the divisions at DB, skills required at them as well as the culture.
I felt very much valued. The people at DB are exceptionally responsive and helpful in case you have any questions.
I received all the guidance/support I needed. And as mentioned, the people at DB were there to answer any queries I might have had.
Insight received during the programme certainly helped me understand what career fields I feel enthusiastic about working in. Besides, I received tips on how to succeed in future jobs, which was also valuable.
The Company
Highly structured. A detailed schedule was provided on day one and everything turned out being on schedule.
The general atmosphere was encouraging and supportive. This was facilitated by everyone involved.
The training was comprehensive and extremely professionally executed. It covered both soft and technical skills. I also received individual feedback.
Multiple training sessions and an Analyst Panel helped me understand what it would be like. However, there are a lot of different roles at DB and it would have been impossible to cover them all.
It helped very much. The best way to help you in understanding the culture is by getting in touch with a lot of people that work at the company, which this experience did do.
It was invaluable. In addition to the experience itself, it enables further tools to decide on a future career path.
Everything Else
I received an adequate payment for attending the programme. And no expensed that should have been reimbursed occurred.
A buddy programme was put in place. Over several phone calls, I had the opportunity to discuss one-on-one with an Associate any topics that we found of interest.
The buddy programme was super helpful. The buddy could answer all my questions and give a very realistic overview of what it actually would mean working in his team. Programme was overall also very interactive, meaning you got to know the other Interns, which was both inspiring and fun.
The programme included one session on well-being, which touched upon these opportunities. However, If one is very interested, I am sure the people at DB would be more than happy to answer any questions regarding activities outside of work.
I could not recommend the programme enough for anyone interested in a career in banking in general and DB in particular.
