About You

1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

Because of corona crisis, the Spring Programme was online and on two days instead of a whole week. Therefore, it was not very interactive and the programme was very heavy and compact.


2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

Because of the special situation, it was not really possible to be valued individually and to express our potential.
We had opportunities to ask questions on the chat but it was more of a competition between students of who would ask the more questions.


3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

We had a very complete overview of different divisions within the bank. All speakers were very intersting and gave very precious insights about their journey at Bank of America.


4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

I learned a lot about the culture of BamL and the possibility to develop personal projects in partnership with the bank.
Bacause of the exceptional situation, it was not possible to work in group and interact with other students, which would have been a very useful and insightful experience.

5. How well structured was the insight?

Many topics were addressed so we had the opportunity to discover many divisions of the bank.
However, I think that it was too much to group all the presentations on two days.


6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

People of the HR department were very nice and did an amazing job to coordinate all speakers.
All speakers gave very insighful presentations and really tried to give us an accurate idea of their everyday job.
Unfortunately, due to the circumstances it was not possible to interact with other students.


7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

There will be soft skills sessions from May to September.


8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

All speakers gave very insightful presentations of their career and their role within the bank.


9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?

All speakers and HR insisted on the importance of aligning with the company's culture.


10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

I discovered many different divisions that I did not know very well

It was online so I had no expenses

12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

Not really but it is because of the special circumstances
But there will be a buddy programme next week


13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

Not really possible


14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

Yes I was impressed by the different volunteering projects enabled by the bank


15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

Yes but for someone who really does not know many things about the bank and finance in general because I already knew much of the informations
