About You

1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

It was very interesting and insightful. I was introduced to many different divisions in the bank, leaving me with deep thoughts on what division I should pursue in investment banking.


2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

Very valued, every session we were able to ask very detailed specific questions, being more assured about our interests within all divisional sessions offered during the Spring Insight.


3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

Support was very good. All technical issues that we encountered were dealt with very well and effectively.


4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

I grasped a basic level of financial knowledge which is not provided from me degree. That, which some further research, can become more advanced knowledge, which can be useful entering the investment banking industry.

5. How well structured was the insight?

Very well structured, there was a guidebook of the event and how it was going to specifically be planned.


6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

Very calm and peaceful.


7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

They invested in my passion for investment banking.


8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

Very well, the day to day sessions really focused on this, allowing me to grasp a full time role at UBS and what it is like.


9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?

Very clearly. The employees were very open minded in telling us about the culture offered by UBS, both generally and in their division


10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

Utmost valuable. Reassured my motivations for a career in investment banking and my plans for applying for internships next year.

The event was virtual in light of the coronavirus pandemic. So this was not a necessary condition

14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

Yes, many philanthropic, international and educational opportunities available in UBS, allowing me to know that that UBS is more than banking

Certainly, a lovely experience and a nice culture
