  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm invested its time and resources on us, answering all our questions. In terms of personal training, this was not possible considering that this was a single day event alongside 40 other candidates, but the presenters and the graduate recruitment team were always happy and willing to answer all our questions.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I live nearby so I did not have any expenses that requires reimbursements, but the firm made it clear that if we had any expenses in attending the insight day, we could claim a reimbursment, once again showcasing how much the firm values our time and interest in the firm.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • There were various opportunities to network with other employees of the firm. We got the chance to talk to trainees, associates and even partners during lunch, while we also got to ask questions to a trainee in a more informal setting. We also shadowed a trainee, getting to meet the other lawyers in her team.
