  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very much. You have an opportunity to experience a breadth of work and work with a breadth of people.

    • For all the work you complete it is explained how it fits into the broader project and how your contribution will help. For all the work i complete, even where it wasn't exactly right, I felt valued.

    • For all the work that you complete you are provided with detailed feedback. Perhaps the tasks could be explained a little better in the first instance.

    • The skills you learn are invaluable both in terms of work skills, and softer people skills.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. However, it is upto you to plan your time and structure your day with in the greater structure of the vac scheme

    • Everyone is super friendly, helpful and nice. There is a culture of learning and excellence.

    • You are provied detailed feedback for all the work that you comeplete. The firm also held IT training at the beggining of the scheme.

    • You get a very raw picture of what everyday working life is like at the firm.

    • It was very helpful. There are plenty of opportunites to chat and network with lawyers and find out more about their experiances at the firm. As well as your experaince of the frim culture first hand.

    • Very helpful. Having first hand experiance of the everyday taks of lawyers is invaluable.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was paid a daily rate during my vac scheme.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • The opporunities to meet and network are endless. Either within grad rec events or outside of grad rec as you work alongside lawyers in the office.

    • The social/ networking events were diverse and many in number. Excellent.

    • Yes, there are plenty of opporunities to get involved with probono work and sports teams.

    • Yes, i would recomend it to anyone who is considering a career in law.
