  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The Scheme gives you a chance to work on huge, complex multi-jurisdictional deals, which a unique opportunity. It gives you a lot of hands-on experience, which is invaluable to better understanding the law and the kind of work you will be expected to do as a Trainee. It gives a very accurate picture of what life would be like at Linklaters.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The firm provides a schedule of events at the very beginning of the Scheme, so you always know what is happening on a given day. Further, if there are any changes, you are told well in advance as well. The socials and the sessions were structured well so as to facilitate the best environment and mindset for the Vacation Schemers to balance work and social events.

Everyone is very friendly and approachable, and people will go out of their way to help you and make sure you are comfortable and having a good time. You are free to set up coffees with even senior members of the firm, and they will take out a bit of time to answer your queries.
