I thoroughly enjoyed the A&O First Scheme and had a fantastic time from start to finish.

I felt extremely valued during my time at the firm, and this was particularly the case when shadowing my trainee buddy and being introduced to other members of the team.

There was an incredible amount of guidance given by various members of the A&O team, from graduate recruitment to partners. Furthermore, the support we received from the graduate recruitment was especially amazing, and I appreciated how they kept in touch with us regularly throughout the whole scheme.

The skills I developed from this scheme were invaluable - from teamwork to problem-solving, there were so many areas we were able to build on through the tasks which the firm organised for us. Furthermore, all the presentations given to us, as well as tasks such as negotiation exercises, were incredibly useful as well as engaging.

Everything was structured to perfection! From the socials to the shadowing of our buddies, everything was arranged amazingly and ran very smoothly.

The general atmosphere was very welcoming as well as stimulating. I believe this was especially due to the other A&O First participants, as well as the members of the firm we came across who were all fantastic.

The firm really invested in us in respect of personal training and development, which was evidenced by the jam-packed schedules they had organised as well as their utility.
