BDO Insight Day Review

I really enjoyed the insight day it enabled me to learn more about the firm and the different parts of the network and the interplay between them. I also had the chance to meet other university students and network with BDO employees. All in all I had a lovely time.

I felt extremely valued during my time at the firm as they treated as with lots of respect and our day was planned out with detail. They made us feel really comfortable and not at all intimidated. They were just as much interested to know about us as we were to know about them.

We were given lots of guidance during the insight day as we had the chance to talk to people on the graduate scheme at BDO and ask them questions about their experience of the firm as well as the application process. We were given lots of advice about choosing which office and division to apply for.

The information I received at the insight day helped me learn a lot about the firm, their values, work culture and opportunities for progression. Hence I came out knowing a lot more about the firm and having made contacts with people that I can ask for help in the future.

The insight day at BDO was very well structured and gave us the opportunity to learn a lot about the firm, the different opportunities and divisions at the firm, its work culture and values as well as the charitable work they do. In addition we also had the chance to ask questions ourselves to employees.

Everyone had a lot of fun, and we were made to feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. There was time for us to talk amongst ourselves and get to know the other attendees of the insight day as well HR employees and BDO employees. There was also plenty of snacks and refreshments.

The insight day at BDO helped me a lot in understanding the firms company culture as I was able to meet and ask questions to current employees at BDO and find out why they chose BDO and their experiences of the work life and treatment of employees as well opportunities for progression at BDO.

The day was very helpful in helping me to decide on my future career path as learning so much about the firm and meeting BDO employees helped me to figure out whether the firm was the kind of place I would want to work in and would be the right place to progress my career.

The networking/social opportunities at the BDO insight day were great as so we had the chance to network with other attendees of the insight day as well with some of the BDO HR team, senior employees and new employees on the graduate scheme. I found the chance to talk to the employees on the graduate scheme extremely helpful.

I would definitely recommend this insight day to a friend as I think that it will enable you to be much better prepared for the application process as you will get the chance to learn so much about the firm and be familiar with the values and culture of the firm on a more personal level
