  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • It was only a short insight in which we shadowed female leaders and partners, but I felt very valued throughout my time as they even gave me some tasks to complete and were very eager to answer my questions.

  • Very supportive environment, everyone was happy to help out and provide information

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I did not develop a lot of skills since it was very short, but the information regarding the firm and some of the work I followed will help me in the future.

    3/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Decently structured. We received information on the first day, and at the end we had a meeting as well. The time with our buddy was not as much structured but this gave us an insight into how working at pwc would really be like.

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very relaxed and laid back but also working hard. Not too much pressure

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Given a lot of resources, IT, and online learning material but since it was only 3 days we were not able to use it as much.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Very helpful. People were very willing to chat about their time at the firm as well.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The moment you step through the door, you can feel what the culture is like already.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It was very enjoyable and helpful, although it was not as much insightful as to what it would be like to really work on projects as we were not given that opportunity.

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Paid well, especially for a short scheme I was not expecting to get paid.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Not really scheduled opportunities, but we were able to approach people ourselves and take the reign since people were very willing to chat.

    4/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • No networking opportunities. But same as last answer, you could ask yourself.

    3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes, I asked some people that I had a chat with.

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • I would definitely recommend this to have a look into the firm and culture, as well as people. But not as much helpful to develop hard skills.

    4/5
