5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the RPC vacation scheme. The scheme was structured, packed with real work and plenty of opportunities to get to know the firm. The supervisors were engaged and always willing to help and answer questions.
I felt that the firm made a good effort to make us feel valued. This was reflected by multiple efforts to involve the vacation scheme students in the ongoing work. Opportunities to go to court and attend client meetings were also invaluable.
The supervisors assigned to me made every effort to introduce me to the workings of their team. They happily answered any questions I had and provided support when I needed it.
While I have already graduated from university, I am certain that the practical insight I gained during the vacation scheme will help me perform well during my LPC. I felt that in comparison to other placements I had, at RPC my tasks were much more hands-on.
The insight was clear and structured from the beginning. We were handed a plan of the scheme in the beginning of the scheme, which the team followed accordingly. However, some of the meeting were running a bit over the intended timeframe.
The firm is extremely friendly. The employees, who were responsible for making us feel welcome and comfortable during the scheme, made a great effort to create a good atmosphere for us.
The firm trusted me with tasks of great responsibility. I was able to meet clients and talk to them, and attend court. All these experiences were invaluable and made the scheme stand out among other experiences I have gathered so far.
I believe that I was able to form a good understanding of the atmosphere of the firm, as well as the type of work that it deals with. I could not have wished for a better insight.
The company culture was shining through during presentations, but also the work itself. I got a very good sense of the firm's culture during the vacation scheme.
Very helpful, as it confirmed my desire to work for RPC. I felt like I got an very good insight into the firm's culture and work, which allowed me to decided, whether it was a good fit for me or not.
I was paid for the two-week internship. I was not reimbursed for any costs, as I did not have any travel expenses or similar things to be reimbursed for.
Yes, there was a good amount of networking opportunities during the scheme.
The firm's employees were open and were always happy to answer any questions we had.
Yes, there were presentations that described other opportunities made available to RPC employees outside of work.
Absolutely. This far, this experience has been the best I have had so far and I believe that other people would be able to benefit from it immensely as well.
