    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and found it very rewarding due to all the exposure of the company I received.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone at Enterprise welcomed me with open arms and helped me to adapt and settle in and within a matter of weeks it felt like I had developed connections with multiple members of staff.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I had given as much support as I asked for. My managers were always open to helping and giving their input if I needs reassurance or guidance.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was constantly busy from 8-5 everyday. There was very rarely a moment that I was bored.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Unlike most placements I was given so much responsibility to the point that I was helping running the daily operations of a business for the majority of my 14 months i was with the company.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The exposure to theoretical concepts learnt at uni, but in a real world situation will help me twofold going back to uni.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone was always in a good mood and gave of the vibe that they were genuinely happy to work for Enterprise and come to work on a daily basis.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • As I was part of the first accounting and finance interns at the Aldershot corporate office it was well organised to make sure that both parties got the most out of the experience.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The company treated me like a normal employee and not as an intern. They invested in me and it was shown by the levels of training and development that was asked of myself.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Parties/Events

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • The prospects of working with the organisation are high!

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • As there were only two interns (including myself) in my department, the social scene wasn’t massive however we both knew each other from uni and get along really well, so no complaints from me.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • The cost of living and socialising was what you would expect. Not too expensive but not as cheap as up north.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • I honestly cannot answer that as if we went for a night out we would travel to a nearby area and not stay in Aldershot.

    2/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were plenty of opportunities as Enterprise is really orientated to give back to the local community and charities.

    4/5
