  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived in Finsbury Park during the intersnhip. Cost of living was not very exhorbitant compared to cost of socialising. Tickets for lots of scenery and fun places were usually at the high end. Cost of electronics and transportation were equally high, however groceries were much cheaper, making it easy to enjoy a good meal for far less.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Nightlife at Finsbury Park was not extraordinary even though it is the home to most of the major summer concerts in London due to its vast parks. Most nights were quiet with only a few outdoor places showing signs of fun. There are not many fun things to do at night.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There were numerous opportunities to engage in firmwide events and division specific events aimed at helping interns destress and recharge while learning a great deal. We embarked onall-day community service project at the Acadia during the internship. This helped us do engage with other interns from other divisions, work and have fun together on non-work related tasks.
