  • I found that I am now able to relate what an audit is to what I have learned at university but have the added advantage of seeing first hand what it's like in real life.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of opportunities to socialise through organised events. End of month drinks, Hamilton Races, graduate presentations and I have been told that throughout the year there is always an opportunity to attend social events. There were even massages organised during the working week.

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I live a half an hour train journey away from the office therefore, my expenses are less than somebody living in the City Centre of Glasgow. However, I feel when socialising prices are reasonable for city prices.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Lots of restaurants, bars, shops and nightclubs within the vicinity of the office.

    5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • In the six weeks I spent at the company there were several opportunities to socialise and get involved in activities.
