  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • This internship was a great way to network with people of similar and different backgrounds and was a great introduction to the finance industry

  • Colleagues were very welcoming and helped create a very inclusive culture

  • Regular meetings every week with my manager that kept me focused towards my internship objectives which we drew up together at the beginning of the internship

  • Initially fairly quiet but picked up very quickly as we got used to the systems and nature of the work

  • Treated as if we were permanent employees of the company which was very encouraging

  • Help me to plan and organise my university schedule whilst juggling many tasks at the same time

  • Always positive - the positive culture is one that you'd rarely find in top finance corporations

  • Very organised by the HR team although our department went through recent restructuring so there was some slight uncertainty about graduate prospects for interns

  • Regular Lunch & Learn sessions which helped careers and personal progressions inside the workplace

  • I would love the opportunity to be offered a graduate role as I see myself fitting in well within Aon, whilst completing CFA qualifications with Aon's support

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Regular after work socials which allowed all team members to socialise

  • Living in London is not the cheapest Socialising was so awesome so many places to visit with colleagues and external friends
