The Role
Interns are treated extremely well and have the opportunity to learn from a huge number of employees at all levels of seniority. The rotational nature of the programme is unique and facilitates exposure to a wider range of businesses than other internships in the sector.
I always had something to work on, and all employees were more than willing to give up their time to speak to me about their role.
Guidance is offered to the level you require it but the programme rewards initiative and independence.
It varied week by week. Interns should expect to work similar hours to the employees.
Not through fault of the company but rather due to lack of the required certification to add value.
My presentation skills have improved through the internship, and I have received a lot of valuable advice along the way
The Company
Whilst employees were often busy, they always made time for interns.
The structure of the programme was largely well thought out but towards the end of the internship it fell away somewhat.
Two days of external vendor training, as well at 8 days of briefings on the businesses across the floor. Once on the rotations, employees took time away from their work to help us with projects and teach us core principles.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Healthcare/Dental
An exceptional opportunity that almost all interns offered a job will accept.
The Culture
Interns always met up at the end of the week
Very expensive
Good but expensive. We didn't really want to go out much; weekends were better spent resting
A community service project, but no sports teams which was a slight disappointment.
