The Role
I learned a lot, rotated in 2 different teams We also had a lot of events organised to know more about different teams, interact with senior people
All the people I worked with were really nice, smart and patient with me. They took the time to explain to me, answered my questions -even stupid ones-
They really try to support you, give you guidances However you don't choose the teams you are put in. You can give some preferences but a lot of persons never got any of their choices without any real explanation.
It is a good busy. You worked a lot but the teams always understand if you have a mandatory event for example. The team is always here working with you.
I was given some responsabiltiies. 5 or 4 weeks in each team is a really short time so it's complicated to have full responsabilties but for the time that I have been in the team I think they tried to give me some responsabilities
I learned a lot. What I learned will be really useful for me in terms of technical skills, netwokring, new products, new industry. I have gained a really good understanding of the bank, of the role of each person within the firm.
The Company
People are working but there is a really atmosphere. Everyone tried to be as available as possible. Always here to answer questions or for a coffee
It is really well organised. Eveything is made so we can really enjoy, learn, get exposure.
They invest a lot! We have events, a lot of mentorships. They trained us all for an entire week.
Subsidised/Company Gym
I will know 3 weeks after the end of the internship if I have an offer or not.
The Culture
Other interns are really nice, supportive. I made some really good friends
London is really expensive but you are paid in consequences.
Bar are closing pretty soon near the office but it's normal it's an area full of offices
We did Community Work one entire day outside, in a park.
